Exciting Updates at Vive: Our New Injector and New Treatments!

cosmetic injections denver co

Many of you have been patiently waiting for neuromodulators and filler services, and we’re thrilled to announce that Heidi Olivas has joined our Denver medical spa team as an RN injector! It has been a meticulous search to find someone as skilled as Heidi, and we’re so excited for the expertise that she brings to Vive. She specializes in neuromodulators (Botox and Dysport) and filler treatments, and appointments are now available. Interested in exploring these services? Here’s what you can expect from Heidi:

Botox and Dysport Treatments

Botox has long been considered the gold standard for temporarily improving moderate to severe frown lines, crows feet, and forehead lines. Botox is the first FDA-approved treatment for the aforementioned concerns, and results are typically seen within 24 to 48 hours. During your Botox treatments, your specialist will inject Botox into the muscles around frown lines, crows feet, or forehead lines. You’ll typically feel a small pinch in the affected areas, but there’s minimal down time and you can return to your daily routine following the treatment. Full results are often seen within 30 days, and may last up to four months. Please note that Botox isn’t a permanent treatment, so lines will gradually return after discontinuing services.

Dysport is another neuromodulator that’s quickly growing in popularity. Similar to Botox, Dysport is minimally invasive and highly effective at combating common cosmetic concerns. Dysport is fast-acting, and results are often noticed within seven days of treatment. Results will fade away at a similar rate to Botox if services are stopped.

Fillers

Botox and Dysport are effective at softening lines because they cause temporary paralysis of the muscles that cause them. Fillers, on the other hand, work by filling in wrinkles rather than targeting the muscles. For fillers, we’re now offering:

  • Restylane-L: this filler is a clear injectable gel primarily composed of hyaluronic acid. It’s injected with an ultra-fine needle and combined with lidocaine to reduce discomfort.

  • Kysse: If you’ve been dreaming of fuller lips, Kysse is a great option. It’s formulated with hyaluronic acid and designed to achieve natural-looking results.

  • Contour: Loss of volume and definition in the cheeks is natural as we age. If your goal is to create fullness without losing your full range of expressions, Contour can help.

  • Lyft: The backs of the hands are another area of the body that lose fullness and elasticity with age. Lyft is a dissolvable HA filler that was created to replenish lost volume for a more youthful appearance.

  • Sculptra: Collagen is a protein that we produce less of as we age. Sculptra is more than just a filler–it’s a biostimulatory injectable that promotes natural collagen production. As your collagen production increases, you’ll often notice improved facial smoothness and tightness.

We’re very excited about the addition of Heidi to our team and the new services she’ll bring to our Denver medical spa. If you have questions about any of the treatments highlighted here or would like to book your appointment, please contact us.
